Who can enroll?
Any student entering grades 5th - 10th in Fall of 2020 (Ages 9 - 16). Students must also be enrolled in a Public or Private Schools virtual learning program.
Where will this take place?
Forever After Productions Studios located at 650 Church Street, Plymouth, MI 48170
Days & Times?
This program will take place Monday - Thursday for the months of September & October from 8am - 2pm
What Is The Cost To enroll?
The cost is $100 per week or $360 per month.
How are the classes set up?
Each Classroom will be limited to 10 students. Students will have their own workspace. One classroom will have students Grades 5th - 7th and the second classroom will have students Grades 8th - 10th. There will be a Coach assigned to each classroom. The responsibility of the coach is to maintain a consistent schedule of work time and social interaction. They will monitor the students workload and expectations set by their home school. They will assist the student in creating a working plan to complete assignments and prepare for exams. They will act as a liaison between the student, parent and home school teacher(s). They are there to provide accountability, assistance and maintain safety.
where does the performing arts come in?
Each day the student will partake in a 40 minute Performing Arts class or activity. This will include Scene Work, Dance, Voice, Acting for both Theatrical and Commercial work.
Can we participate less than the scheduled 4 days per week?
Unfortunately no. This program is designed for students who do not plan to return to their home school building for the first two months of the school year.
Will this extend past October?
Possibly! We are hoping in this time frame things will be improving and there will be no need to extend but if needed we will continue.
WHO ARE THE COACHES?
The coaches are current staff of Forever After Productions! They may already know your kids well and are experts at handling all ages of students and creating a fun atmosphere for them to learn.
why would I be interested in this program?
This program is designed to give students not comfortable returning to a large school environment the opportunity to work with a small group, have social interaction, some in person learning while relieving parents of the obligation of tracking their school success. They will be able to have lunch with a friend, maybe take a walk to town with their group, brush up on some performing arts skills and build lasting relationships with their peers.
IF I COMPLETE AN ENROLLMENT FORM AM I AUTOMATICALLY IN?
You will receive an approval once your form has been reviewed. Those choosing less than a months participation may be put on a waiting list. Students will be placed in the order their forms are received.
Is there a deposit required?
Upon approval you will be asked to place a non refundable deposit of $100. That will be applied to your last week of tuition.
What are you doing for safety?
Students will have their own workspace and use their own laptop/iPad and school supplies. These are not shared. Temperature checks will occur daily along with a health survey. Hand washing will be required often and hand sanitizer will also be made available. We will comply with the State requirements for masks, Students exhibiting symptoms will require a negative test result and note from a physician to return after symptoms subside. The classroom will be cleaned daily and treated with UV light at night.
